What this code means

E17: Water supply time exceeded

The machine did not get enough water in the allowed time. Blocked inlet filters and low pressure account for most cases.

Common causes

Tap not fully open
Filters in the supply hose or AquaStop hose clogged
Water pressure too low
Inlet valve fault

What to check, in order

Open the tap fully and test pressure by filling a bucket for one minute.
Reduce pressure in the hose safely first (close the tap, run a programme briefly, unplug), then remove and clean the hose filters with a brush.
Retry a short programme; if supply is strong and E17 returns, the inlet valve needs testing.

Safety first. Switch the machine off and unplug it before cleaning filters or moving hoses. Expect water to come out when you open a pump filter; keep a tray and towel ready. If you are not comfortable with any step, stop and call a technician.
