E43: Main board fault (motor circuit)

E43 points at the main control board's motor drive stage. It is an electronics failure and a service case on every model that shows it.

Failed triac or relay on the main board
Damage following a motor fault or power surge

What to check, in order

Unplug the machine; there is no reset procedure for a board-level fault.
Arrange service: board repair or replacement is required.
