HE: Water heating fault

The water is not heating as expected, or is heating when it should not. The heating element and its control circuit are the suspects.

What to check, in order

  1. Note whether the code appears only on hot washes; cold cycles may still complete.
  2. Element and board testing involves live electrical measurement, so this is a repair for a technician.
