AE: Rotation error (top-load models)

On top-load models, AE appears when the gears that rotate the drum cannot operate properly, often because something is jammed or the drive is slipping.

  2. Try turning the drum by hand to feel for a jam.
  3. A free drum with a returning AE code needs professional diagnosis of the drive.
