Cd: Cooling down display (not an error)

On washer-dryer combinations, Cd shows while the machine cools the load down after drying, so the door stays locked until temperatures are safe. It clears by itself when the cool-down finishes.

What to check, in order

  1. Wait for the cool-down to finish; the door unlocks when the display clears.
  2. Do not force the door while Cd is shown.
Safety first. Switch the machine off and unplug it before cleaning filters or moving hoses. Expect water to come out when you open a pump filter; keep a tray and towel ready. If you are not comfortable with any step, stop and call a technician.
