SE: Motor sensor error

The sensor that tracks the motor's rotation is not reporting correctly, so the washer cannot control the drum. Also shown as a motor hall sensor fault on many models.

What to check, in order

  1. Try a power reset: unplug for a few minutes, then run a short cycle.
  2. If SE returns, the sensor and motor need professional testing.
