What this code means

PE: Water level (pressure) sensor error

The pressure sensor that tells the machine how much water is in the tub is reporting impossible values, so the washer cannot manage filling safely.

Common causes

Failed pressure sensor
Blocked or split air tube between tub and sensor
Loose sensor connector

What to check, in order

Restart the machine once after unplugging for a minute.
Sensor and tube checks are internal, so persistent PE codes go to a technician.

Safety first. Switch the machine off and unplug it before cleaning filters or moving hoses. Expect water to come out when you open a pump filter; keep a tray and towel ready. If you are not comfortable with any step, stop and call a technician.
